The last concert of the Lions Gate Sinfonia’s season is their traditional Pianos Galore and More! If you're already familiar with the many musically talented youth we have on the North Shore, you will not be surprised by the brilliant displays by a dozen or so young soloists. In this concert, with a Side-by-Side appearance by the Lions Gate Youth Orchestra as well as the auditioned young soloists from the North Shore chapter of the RMTA (Registered Music Teachers Association), the Lions Gate Sinfonia will create an enormous impact on the next generation of young performers. With music by Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel, Debussy, Kabalevsky, and more, you'll hear not just piano music, but also works featuring violin, clarinet, flute, and even saxophone! Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Centennial Theatre.
